About
TimeCap Documentaries was established in Pune, India, with a mission to make films that capture the essence of lives, moments, traditions, and practices from the recent past, preserving them for generations to come.
Our first documentary film revisits the ‘Golden Era of Radio’. This was an era before the advent of television, mobile phones, and social media in our daily lives. Radio was popular among people because it offered a variety of programs that covered news, entertainment, and knowledge from around the world.
We began developing the concept of the film and conducting research for two years, reaching out to different people associated with the radio. Soon selection of the protagonists was done and the documentary film ‘My Radio My Life’ came to light.
In this cinematic journey, the film takes a closer look at the significant impact of the radio on the lives of a few passionate individuals. It offers a comprehensive portrayal not only of their personal journeys but also of the broader cultural and societal context in which their stories unfold.
Perhaps the film will take you back to your own memories of radio days!
